FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is your turnaround time for printing?

A: Most of our printing products have a 5-6 business day turnaround time after you approve the design. Business cards and most postcards have a 4-5 business day printing turnaround. Graphic design time is additional. Because each printing product we offer is custom, turnaround times vary by product, quantity and finishing options. If you’re working on a specific deadline, or need a rush print job, please let us know so we can accommodate you.

Q: How many colors can I have printed?

A: Most of our printing products and signs are printed in full process color, so your color choice is unlimited. We also can print spot color for products such as business stationery, carbonless forms, folders, checks, and more. For our yard signs, we offer full color, 1-color and 2-color options.

Q: How should I prepare my files for printing and what file formats do you accept?

A: If you’ll be submitting your own files for printing, we can provide you with a template to use to construct your files properly. Common applications used by our customers for preparing their files are: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, CorelDraw, and Microsoft Publisher. We ask that you send your final artwork as a high-resolution PDF. If your file includes art that runs to the edge of the document, we ask that you include a 1/2″ bleed on all sides with registration marks (crop marks/cut lines). Please ensure before saving you file as a PDF that you:

  • Convert all text to curves/paths
  • Any placed images into your document need to be CMYK mode
  • Save your PDF at print-ready resolution (If you have the ability to adjust your PDF settings, ensure all artwork is 300dpi)
